Impa’s armor is Foam with Worbla over it for strength. Normally I think foam is strong enough, but her armor is one piece on the whole front of her body, and foam would get horribly creased in no time from bending. I patterned the boobs from a bra, and made a posterboard mockup before starting the real armor.

I traced a swimsuit to make her bodysuit, and discovered the life changing magic of knit feet and walking feet for sewing machines! I’m not scared of sewing stretch fabrics anymore! There’s faux leather and real leather, and later on I added dance tights to the arms because I was tired of spending time on tattoo cover makeup. Dance tights are also magic.
